Motor Driver HBRIDGE BTS7960 43A

This driver uses BTS7960B chip that is composed of high power H-bridge driver module having thermal over-current protection.
Basically it  contains one p-channel high side MOSFET and one N-CHANNEL low side MOSFET with an integrated driver IC in one package.
Due to strong braking and drive in this circuit successfully isolate microcontroller and motor driver with high current i.e.43Ampere.

It’s a fully integrated high current module with
    Operating Voltage of 24V
    Continuous current of 43A Max
PWM capability of up to 25 kHz.

BTS7960 IC has good power protection. Interfacing to a microcontroller is made easy by the integrated driver IC which features logic level inputs, diagnosis with current sense, slew rate adjustment, dead time generation and protection against over temperature, overvoltage, under voltage, over current and short circuit .The BTS 7960 is protected against over temperature by an integrated temperature sensor which further leads to shut down of both O/P stages.

FEATURES :

Double BTS 7960 current – 43Amp
power supply on board – 5 volt
Isolated with MCU -5volt and also protect MCU
Heat Sink to dissipate heat
Voltage indication of motor driver output end.
Path resistance of typ. 16 mΩ @ 25 °C
Low quiescent current of typ. 7 µA @ 25 °C

Driver circuit with logic level inputs
PWM capability of up to 25 kHz combined with active freewheeling
Adjustable slew rates for optimized EMI

Under voltage shut down
Status flag diagnosis with current sense capability
Over temperature shut down with latch behavior
Switched mode current limitation for reduced power dissipation in over current
Overvoltage lock out
Current limitation level of 43 A type
